Arkansas TBF angler wins 2015 TBF National Championship on Oklahoma’s Grand Lake

Congratulations to Shawn Gordon for winning the 2015 TBF National Championship on Grand Lake OK.

Shawn weighed in 5 bass limits on all three days of competition for a 50lb 2oz total.

For his victory Shawn earned the $100,000 “Living the Dream” prize package and a new Ranger Z518 boat. The $100,000 “Living the Dream” prize package includes use of a wrapped Ranger boat powered by Evinrude as well as a tow vehicle, fully paid entry fees into the 2016 Walmart FLW Tour, a cash award, an automatic berth into the 2015 Walmart BFL All-American and the 2015 Forrest Wood Cup.

Shawn started this journey by participating in the TBF of Arkansas state qualifiers last year where he qualified for the Arkansas State Team. He then fished the Central TBF Regional on Lake Eufaula OK. where he was the top finishing angler from Arkansas which qualified him for the TBF National Championship. Shawn then had to outperform the other anglers from the Central Division to make the final day and then went on to win the overall event.

Good luck to Shawn as he competes in the upcoming BFL All American and the Forest wood cup on Lake Ouachita this August.

Ray Dotson was the other Arkansas angler participating in the event and finished in 2nd place in the Central Division on the co-angler side.
